Comments from participants at the teleconference:
As a person living with lupus for over 10 years and still in the workforce, I think it is important for me and others to know the laws and our rights as it relates to workplace accommodations. In listening to the teleconference presentation on Workplace Accommodations, I think Attorney Pat White has done a great job in sharing information in this area and I feel more informed and empowered as an employee in the workforce. I encourage everyone living with lupus that are still working or seek to work listen to the presentation and you will be very enlighten about your rights.

I think that the teleconference regarding Workplace Accommodations was very informative and extremely helpful. I attended this conference out of concern for my 19 year old son who is already experiencing the challenges that come with trying to balance part time work and college while learning how to manage his condition. The information on this teleconference served as an “eye opener” for the situations that he may encounter while trying to join the work force. The presenter was very knowledgeable.
