Jeff Kershaw focuses his practice on providing insurance coverage advice to insurers throughout the United States. His coverage practice primarily encompasses coverage litigation in the areas of general liability, professional liability, directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, and commercial property.

Jeff also defends insureds and other clients in commercial disputes and employment matters and in the areas of professional liability, products liability and environmental liability.

Prior to joining the firm, Jeff gained substantial experience as outside counsel as well as in-house counsel to one of the largest insurers in the Lloyd’s Market.

R. Patrick White

Pat White’s practice is focused on Employment, Insurance Coverage, Products Liability and Professional Liability defense. In addition, Pat has developed an expertise in defending automobile dealerships in consumer litigation in the State and Federal Courts.

Before returning to active trial practice in 2002, Pat served as Vice President, Claims Legal Management, for the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. In this capacity, he managed a Staff Counsel operation of over 200 attorneys located in 41 cities in the United States.

Over the past decade, Pat has worked with major insurance carriers to handle legal work utilizing alternative fee arrangements.

Pat is the Education Director for the Georgia Chapter of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. For the past year, he has been active with the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance Continuing Education Program for Claims Professionals. He has presented Claims training seminars across the Southeastern United States.

Pat is licensed to practice in Georgia.

Susan L. White

Office Manager/Paralegal

Susan began her career as a legal secretary in 1976 in Marietta, Georgia.  She has worked in civil litigation in the areas of insurance defense, employment, products liability, personal injury, real estate, collections and workers’ compensation appeals.

Susan’s ability to learn different areas of the law has served her well while living in Georgia, New Jersey and California.  She returned to Atlanta in 2002 and held various paralegal positions while also working in the same law firm as her husband.  Ultimately, she worked for him alone, and managed the Atlanta office of a Cleveland, Ohio, based firm.  For the past 6 and 1/2 years, Susan has supported her husband and two other attorneys in an Atlanta law firm.

Susan received her paralegal certificate from NALS in 2013, and has served in various positions on the state and national level for the past three years.  Currently she is secretary of NALS of Atlanta, and serves on the Education Products Committee, helping to compose the mock exams for paralegal candidates.  She also volunteers her time to proctor the exams.

Fred McClure

Senior Legal Clerk

Fred McClure began his career in 2008 with a global legal outsourcing company in Birmingham, AL. He has provided support for several firms throughout Atlanta, Tampa, and Idaho, where he had the opportunity to implement procedures for site training and hiring. With 10+ years in the legal field, Fred has been successful in identifying the complexities of how law firms operate within the spectrum of facilities management.

He served as a service specialist and process server providing office assistance including trial preparation in Birmingham, AL. He was transferred to Tampa, FL, and assisted in revitalizing a failing account and gained knowledge of file management. With that and his organizational skills Fred was able to obtain, he took his talents to Atlanta, GA within the same company. He started off as a project manager and spearheaded a successful project in Human Resources which allowed him to become an elite Lead for their Rapid Response team. Fred worked to fill a void in 15+ firms across Atlanta and ultimately earned his own firm as a Manager in Office Services. Due to the closure of the firm, he left management and transitioned to conference services for one of the largest firms globally, and exceeded expectations. He currently works as a Senior Legal Clerk providing great support for Kershaw White.

Fred is married with two beautiful daughters whom he enjoys spending his time with. He takes great pride in being a family man. When he is not spending time with his family, he enjoys producing music.

Nancy Dickson

Controller

Nancy began her accounting career with an Atlanta-based insurance company, and later served in financial reporting for another property and casualty insurance company. Due to a corporate buyout, Nancy left the insurance world to join a specialty manufacturing company, then joined Kershaw White LLC in Fall, 2020.

When she is not at work, Nancy especially enjoys playing the organ, and serving on the Flower Guild at her church.
